MP crosses milestone in battling TB

Bhopal, Apr 16 : on Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh L Mandaviya on Saturday honoured Madhya Pradesh with an e-citation for securing the foremost position in the national TB-free campaign conducted from March 24 to April 13. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan felicitated the department as the state topped among those with populations exceeding five crore. A significant achievement was the examining of 2.42 lakh patients by health and wellness centres. “This is the outcome of endeavours progressing in the direction of building a healthy Madhya Pradesh with the resolve of a robust India under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We shall leave no stone unturned in making India TB-free by 2025,” Mr Chouhan was officially quoted as saying. AC
