A call about the fire was received at 5:22 on Sunday morning following which 25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Over 50 people have been rescued so far and rushed the nearby hospitals.
The rescue and relief operations are still underway.
The cause of the fire not immediately known.

Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Member of Parliament from Delhi Manoj Tiwari offered condolence at the deadly fire which broke out in Delhi claiming lives of more than three dozens of people. Manoj Tiwari expressed the need for urgent investigation in the tragic incident.
Expressing grief over the deaths due to tragic fire in Delhi, BSP leader Sudhindra Bhadoria said that strict actions must be taken against the culprit involved in the incident.
