Udaipur : In a shocking incident, a man was found hanging from the ceiling of a bathroom of a house in Bhadsoda town of Chittorgarh district on Friday. Before committing suicide he had strangulated his three year old son and thrown the body in a hole dug up for making septic tank in an under construction house in the vicinity. The deceased was identified as Vijendra Kumar son of Rameshwar lal Nayak resident of Jawahar Nagar in Bhilwara. Rameshwar lal is a retired police personnel, sources informed.
The matter came to light when the house owner Sanjay Kumar’s wife went to the bathroom built on the third storey of their house. The woman screamed out of shock seeing a dead body hanging from the ceiling. Bhadsoda SHO Bhawani Shankar and team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary. The body was identified by the registration details of the motorcycle found in the area. Vijendra Kumar worked in a cloth mill in Bhilwara and was missing since Thursday evening, he had left home with his three year old son, police came to know.
When the cops sought CCTV footage from a motorbike showroom in the area, they saw the deceased carrying a child in his arms. When cops searched for the child in the vicinity, his dead body was found in a septic tank of an under construction house some 200 meters away from the spot. Police is investigating on how the deceased managed to reach the third storey of Sanjay’s home. Stress and family disturbance is suspected to be the reason behind the murder and suicide , police said
