Maharashtra reports 127 new Covid cases

Mumbai, April 18 : Maharashtra has reported 127 fresh Covid-19 cases, according to a health bulletin released on Monday. The state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,75,845, while the overall toll stood at 1,47,827 with no new deaths reported. The bulletin said 107 patients were cured of the virus and discharged, taking the recovery count to 77,27,372. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.12 per cent and fatality rate stood at 1.87 per cent. Presently, there are 646 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, it added. Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Thane district reported 15 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total count to 7,08,892, an official said. VKB PRT
