L&T zooms as its arm commences executing one of largest communication network in India for T-Fibre

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1513.05, up by 100.20 points or 7.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 1412.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1433.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1547.65 and Rs. 1433.00 respectively. So far 415634 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1606.70 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1183.40 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1547.65 and Rs. 1289.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 210489.84 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.91% and 42.09% stake in the company, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm — L&T Construction’s Smart World and Communication (SW&C) and Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) businesses have commenced executing one of the largest communication network in India for Telangana Fibre Grid Corporation (T-Fibre) . The initial design and survey works are being completed and the roll out will establish IP-MPLS Infrastructure and Optical Fibre Network for affordable High Speed Broadband Connectivity and Digital Services across 4 Zones, 11 Districts, 215 Mandals, 3201 Gram Panchayats and approximately 8.65 lakhs households in the state of Telangana.
