Lok Sabha Polls: Campaigning gathers pace

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the NDA government has worked with the vision of Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas and is moving forward to build a new India.

Launching BJP’s election campaign for the Lok Sabha polls at Meerut in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi said, the government has taken decisive actions and has not indulged in sloganeering.

He said that he will give an account of his work and at the same time seek an account from the opponents.

PM also said that his administration has shown the courage to conduct a surgical strike, be it on land, sky or space.

Addressing another election rally in Rudrapur in Uttarakhand, PM Modi said that construction of all-weather roads and rail link between Rishikesh- Karnprayag is being undertaken on a war footing.

He blamed earlier Congress governments in the State for poor connectivity and lack of development, he further added that Congress’ culture of corruption has destroyed Uttarakhand.

Later addressing his last rally of the day at Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister said, NDA government has been very keen to ensure the overall development of the state.

He accused PDP, Congress and National Conference of deliberately ignoring the development of Jammu Division.
