Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Campaigning ends for 7th & Last phase

Political parties have gone full throttle in a bid to woo voters on a number of issues, ranging from development to corruption to national security. This last, but not the least, phase will see fate of leaders like PM Narendra Modi, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha, actor Sunny Deol, being sealed in EVMs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress’ attempts to remove laws on sedition and snatching away special rights of the armed forces, have been thwarted by the people of the country. Addressing an election rally at Khargone in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister said the country is united on one point that those who advocate separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir, must be punished in these elections.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed an election rally at Solan in Himachal Pradesh. He said if Congress is voted to power, it will give 72 thousand rupees each to five crore poor people.

Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati addressed a joint election rally with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav at Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh for the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha polls. She said that despite ruling for decades, Congress has not been able to provide relief to poors of the country.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed an election rally at Ballia in Uttar Pradesh.  While addressing the public he said that Congress looted the resources of the country. He slammed the opposition parties accusing them of discriminating in the name of caste only for the sake of votes.
