Lemon Tree Hotels rises on opening 142 room hotel in Kolkata

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 55.95, up by 0.25 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 55.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.80 and Rs. 56.05 respectively. So far 11838 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 90.90 on 02-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.00 on 13-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.80 and Rs. 55.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4448.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.40 % and 44.71 % respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has entered into Kolkata with the launch of its 142 room hotel – Lemon Tree Premier, New Town, strategically located in close proximity to the business and IT hub of New Town, SEZs, Rajarhat and Salt Lake. This new age contemporary hotel is the company’s second in the State of West Bengal alter Siliguri.
With opening of this Hotel, the company presently operates 58 Hotels including managed properties across 35 cities in India.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, as of June 30, 2017.
