Leading Islamic Nations honours PM Modi with highest civilian awards

PM Modi’s personal diplomatic outreach has yielded great results for India as far as the Muslim world is concerned. It has got home substantial investment, led to rise in Haj quota and ensured several prisoners in West Asia come back home, united with their loved ones.

Here is the list of awards PM Modi has been conferred from Muslim nations:

The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance, Bahrain – August 2019

Order of Zayed, UAE – August 2019

Grand Collar of the State of Palestine – February 2018

Amir Amanullah Khan Award, Afghanistan – June 2016

King Abdulaziz Sash Award, Saudi Arabia – April 2016

In addition, Maldives has conferred ‘Rule of Nishan Izzuddeen’ on PM Modi in June 2019.

PM Modi has always said that these awards are not merely for a person but for 130 crore Indians and our value systems.

Such widespread recognition from the Muslim world is a tight slap on Pakistan, which is making one failed attempt after another to isolate India particularly among Islamic nations.

Pakistan now realises that this is a New India that will engage with the world and also ensure that perpetrators of terror are isolated.
