Kerala rain fury: Death toll rises to 22

Govt has issued red alert for nine districts as rains Rain is expected to continue till Monday.

The Cochin International Airport, where flight operations was suspended till midnight Friday after floodwaters inundated the apron area (parking), will remain closed till 3 PM on Sunday.

Kerala Government declared holiday for the day, for all educational institutions across the state.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan held an meeting with government and State Disaster Management Authority officials, and said a serious situation prevails in parts of the state, especially in Wayanad.
