As Karnataka Assembly session began on Friday, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy sought time from assembly speaker to prove majority saying he wanted to prove majority in the house.
He said there are many things happening in the state’s politics as a difficult situation arose because of the decisions of some MLAs, which created a difficult situation.
Kumaraswamy said he was not there to sit in power and appealed to the speaker to allow him to move a trust motion.
The Speaker has taken note of his request and has added it to the Business advisory of the House.
The House has been adjourned till Monday.
Before the Session began, whip notices have been pasted on all rebel MLAs houses, below their name plates.
