Jharkhand Polls: Campaigning intensifies for 5th phase 

Campaigning in Jharkhand for the fifth and final phase is gaining momentum. There are a series of rallies scheduled of the leaders of major political parties. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand and address an election rally in Barhet in Sahibganj. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address various election rallies in Jharkhand including Godda.

Fifth and final phase of Jharkhand elections will take place on 20th December which will see 16 seats go to polls and the counting will take place on 23rd December.

Meanwhile, polling has concluded peacefully for the fourth phase of assembly polls. Polling was  held in 15 constituencies spread over four districts of Dhanbad, Deoghar, Giridih and Bokaro with over 62 % voter turn out.  Maximum number of candidates was on Bokaro seat, which was 25. 

Voting was peaceful on all assembly seats and no untoward incident was reported. Like in the previous 3 phases. This phase also saw enthusiasm in the voters..Braving the cold weather conditions. Voters of all age groups, including divyangjans and women came out in large numbers to vote.
