Jammu & Kashmir: 3 Jaish terrorists killed in Pulwama

The three terrorists who were killed in Dalipora encounter in Pulwama have been identified. They have been identified as Naseer Pandith of Karim Abad from Pulwama, Umar Mir of Bethipora from Shopian and Khalid from Pakistan according to sources.

Khalid was a top Jaish commander and was active since the last eight years in Kashmir. He was the mastermind of the 2017 suicide attack on a CRPF camp in Lethpora that left five paramilitary personnel dead.

Earlier, a soldier was martyred and a civilian was also killed and three other persons including two Armymen were injured in the operation. The injured soldiers are undergoing treatment.

Curfew has been imposed in the town, following intense clashes and law and order deterioration. The internet services have also been suspended in the southern district.
