Israel Elections too close to call – Exit Polls

The surveys by Israeli television stations showed Netanyahu’s right-wing Likud with 31-33 of parliament’s 120 seats compared with 32-34 for the centrist Blue and White led by former general Benny Gantz.

The exit polls indicated that Netanyahu’s ally-turned-rival, ex-defence minister Avigdor Lieberman, could be the kingmaker.

The ballot followed an inconclusive election in April. Netanyahu, at 69 Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, seeks a fifth term after a decade in power.
