IndiGo surges on launching daily direct flights between Kolkata-Silchar

ndiGo is currently trading at Rs. 1513.00, up by 17.20 points or 1.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 1491.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1490.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1515.15 and Rs. 1471.00 respectively. So far 23623 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1716.00 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 697.00 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1575.10 and Rs. 1412.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58237.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.76% and 4.35% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has expanded its network in the northeastern region with the launch of direct daily flight services to Silchar in Assam from Kolkata. The flights in the route will start from September 20, 2019.
Silchar is the eighth location in the northeast connected by IndiGo that has launched direct flights to Shillong, Agartala and Dibrugarh recently.

InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
