IndiGo gains on reporting 5-fold jump in Q4 net profit

Interglobe Aviation (IndiGo) is currently trading at Rs. 1666.00, up by 3.00 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 1663.00 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1705.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1716.00 and Rs. 1655.00 respectively. So far 275809 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1670.05 on 27-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 697.00 on 09-Oct-2018. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1716.00 and Rs. 1469.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 64624.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.12% and 4.95% respectively. Interglobe Aviation (IndiGo) has reported 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 589.59 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 117.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 35.46% at Rs 8,259.81 crore for Q4FY19 as compared Rs 6,097.68 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has reported a fall of 93.04% in its net profit at Rs 156.13 crore as compared to Rs 2,242.37 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 24.42% at Rs 29,821.71 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 23,967.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 92.99% in its net profit at Rs 157.25 crore as compared to Rs 2,242.32 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 24.42% at Rs 29,821.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 23,967.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
