Indian Hotels moves up on launching new hotel brand ‘SeleQtions’

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 151.85, up by 0.20 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 151.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 152.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 153.15 and Rs. 151.50 respectively. So far 8326 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 161.00 on 03-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 110.00 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 160.00 and Rs. 150.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18058.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.03% and 19.88% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has launched a new hotel brand ‘SeleQtions’, which is a collection of named and distinctive properties. The brand has been launched with 12 hotels across the country.

The 12 hotels in the first phase include properties such as President in Mumbai, Ambassador in New Delhi, The Connaught in New Delhi, Blue Diamond in Pune, Cidade de Goa, Tajview in Agra and Devi Ratn in Jaipur, Pratap Mahal in Ajmer, Savoy in Ooty, Gateway Coonoor, Gateway Chikmagalur and Gateway Varkala.

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia’s largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, mid-market and value segments of the market.
