India sets dedicated desk at EEF meet for investments in India

Investments both inbound and outbound to and from India are facilitated by a special desk in the Ministry of Commerce called Invest India. It was set up under the Prime Minister’s direction and includes some of the best young minds that have been recruited from top institutions like IIT and IIM, and with work experience in global consulting firms like Goldman Sachs, KPMG and the like. India is committed to Investments in the Russian Far east.

In Russia alone Invest India has found forty-seven business interests across 19 sectors largely driven by private sector and young entrepreneur enthusiasm. They are aiming to build a new technology driven future. To encourage young ideas Prime Minister Modi will launch the startup challenge for tech solutions in education to bring the best young minds to find appropriate solutions to education related problems.

There are many success stories with an inherent India connect in the region. Many of them have been active in Vladivostok since 2017, and hope to increase their investments in the country.

Indian companies have invested millions of dollars in the Vladivostok and to add to it many have employed Indian staff in the region, providing them an opportunity to work abroad and also promote Indian work culture and ethics. This street exhibition in Vladivostok takes one through each region of the Russian Far East and the Asian part of Russia. It is rich in its cultural diversity.
