India-Bangladesh signs Revised Travel Arrangement (RTA)-2018

Home Minister Rajnath Singh co-chaired India-Bangladesh Home Minister level talks in Dhaka on Sunday.

The Home Minister who was on a visit to Bangladesh, on Saturday called on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

The Home Minister also inaugurated a new integrated state-of-the-art Indian Visa Application Centre at Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka on Saturday. 

Home minister Rajnath Singh along with his Bangladesh counterpart opened the centre, the largest Indian visa centre in the world, by handing over passports with Indian visa to a couple of visa applicants.

Following the inauguration of the new Indian Visa Application Centre, Home minister Rajnath Singh announced the withdrawal of the existing e-token system for submission of Visa applications.
