ICC World Cup: Bumrah rattles South Africa

When reports last came in, India were 123 for the loss of 2 wickets after 29 overs.

Shikhar Dhawan was the first wicket to fall after scoring 8 runs. 

Captain Virat Kohli who enjoys a fantafabulous run against the Proteas felll for 18. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are in the middle.

Earlier South Africa batting first managed 227 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. 

Jasprit Bumrah rattled South Africa openers dismissing Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock cheaply to South Africans under pressure.

Amla return to playing 11 was not memorable as Jasprit got him to nick one to Rohit in slips.

De kock too failed to get going and an outside edge was taken up by Virat with the score card reading 24 for the loss of 2 wickets.

After that Yuzvendra Chahal ripped South African middled order as he claimed 4 wickets.

Capt Faf Du Plessis and Rossi Van der Dussen stitched a 54 run stand before Chahal send both packing in one over.

Kuldeep Yadav now got into the wicket taking act picking JP Duminy cheaply.

Chahal came back to send back David Miller for 31 runs.

Towards the end Morris and Rabada added 66 runs for the 8th wicket and helped South Africa to reach a total of 227.
