In their first match of the ICC Crikcet World Cup 2019 Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten 122 propelled men in blue to a six-wicket victory against South Africa in Southampton. South Africans struggled to reached 227 for 9, a total India surpassed in 47.3 overs to open their campaign on winning note.
India beat Australia by 36 runs
Australia surrendered to their first defeat of the tournament against India. Shikhar Dhawan took centre stage for Men in Blue – in what proved to be his final game as injury struck. Dhawan hit 16 boundaries in his 117 from 109 balls as India scored a huge 352-5 batting first.

India beat West Indies by 125 runs
India tharshed West Indies by 125 runs at Old Trafford to end their opponents’ hopes of making the last four. Virat Kohli led the way with the bat, hitting his fourth half-century in a row, and MS Dhoni made an unbeaten 56.
England beat India by 31 runs
In the 7th match of their campaign India suffered first defeat of the World Cup to England, losing by 31 runs to the tournament hosts at Edgbaston.
India beat Bangladesh by 28 runs
India booked their place in the semi-finals with a game to spare as they claimed a hard-fought 28-run victory over Bangladesh at Edgbaston.
India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets
Rohit Sharma scored a record fifth hundred in a single World Cup as India thumped Sri Lanka by seven wickets in their final group game at Headingley to finish top of the table. Rohit Sharma became the first player to hit five centuries in a single World Cup. India comfortably chased Sri Lanka’s score of 264 in 43.3 overs, KL Rahul too notching a second ODI century.
