HPCL in talks with Total SA to build second LPG storage facility: Report

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) reportedly in preliminary talk with Total SA, to build an underground Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage facility. The company might build its second LPG in Mangalore in the state of Karnataka. For the first LPG cavern in Visakhapatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh the company has also partnered with Total SA.

HPCL is an Indian state-owned oil and natural gas company with its headquarters at Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has about 25% marketing share in India among PSUs and a strong marketing infrastructure.
