While addressing the gathering he said that the economic reforms undertaken by the Government under leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last four years will push India among the world’s top economies, in next two-three years India’s economy will be among the top five.
The issues expected to be discussed include, the simplification of GST, policy for e-commerce, relevance of FDI in retail business, digital payment requirement and digitization of current retail business, easy availability of loans to traders etc.
Finance Minister Piyush Goyal said that govt has tried to find solutions of all issues raised by states.
Different sessions will be held on all three days to discus individual issues. Post Conclave, the CAIT IS likely to submit its recommendations to govt for implementation.
