HDFC Bank spurts on the bourses

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 2477.30, up by 30.60 points or 1.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 2446.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2451.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2479.90 and Rs. 2451.10 respectively. So far 28609 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2494.00 on 27-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1884.40 on 31-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2494.00 and Rs. 2403.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 676835.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.12% and 18.19% respectively.

HDFC Bank has been recognized as the ‘Best Bank in India’ by global magazine FinanceAsia. The Bank was adjudged as India’s top bank at the publication’s Country Awards for Achievement 2019 for maintaining an impressive growth trajectory and strong asset quality.
