HDFC AMC slips despite reporting 79% rise in Q2 net profit

HDFC Asset Management Company is currently trading at Rs. 3022.00, down by 38.05 points or 1.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 3060.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3072.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3072.50 and Rs. 2990.00 respectively. So far 29233 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3140.00 on 24-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1302.00 on 18-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3140.00 and Rs. 2880.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 64258.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 82.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.46% and 9.84% respectively.

HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) has reported 78.84% rise in its net profit at Rs 368.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 205.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.57% at Rs 549.07 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 515.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

HDFC AMC provides the product and services of Asset Management is childrens gift funds, Fixed maturity plan, Debt/income fund, liquid fund, Equity/growth fund, Exchange traded fund, Fund of fund schemes, Quaterly internal fund, Rajiv Gandhi Equity savings fund, HDFC annual internal fund Series 1.
