BJP has released second list of 12 candidates for Haryana Assembly polls. The second list includes State Vice President Mahila Morch Sonali Phogat. In its second list, the BJP has nominated Surendar Rana from Naraingarh, Pramod Viz from Panipat City, Nirmal Choudhary from Ganaur and Meena Narwal from Kharkhauda.
Dudram Bishnoi has been nominated from Fatehabad seat, Sonali Phogat from Adampur, Shashiranjan Parmar from Tosham and Laxman Yadav from Kosli. Sunil Musepur (Rewari), Sudhir Singla (Gurgaon) and Deepak Mangla (Palwal) have also been named in the list.
BJP has also released second list of 14 candidates for Maharashtra assembly elections.
Indian National Lok Dal, party has released its first list of 64 candidates for Haryana Assembly polls after the party’s election committee met in New Delhi under the chairmanship of its Chief Om Parkash Chautala.
Releasing the list, State President of INLD, Birbal Das Dhalia said it includes names of 12 women candidates and all sections of society were given preference while allotting the tickets.
According to the list, Abhay Singh Chautala will contest from Elenabad.
It is noteworthy that a number of senior INLD leaders had left the party before the poll announcement.
Meanwhile, Congress party late Wednesday night released its list for 84 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, fielding all its sitting MLAs except one. Former chief minister Bhupinder Hooda will contest from his Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat, while the party’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala will contest from his Kaithal Assembly constituency.
Out of the 17 sitting MLAs in the Haryana Assembly, the party fielded 16, barring Renuka Vishnoi who represented the Hansi constituency. The son and the daughter-in-law of former chief minister Bansi Lal have also been given party tickets, with Ranveer Mahindra fielded from the Badhra seat and Kiran Chaudhary from the Tosham seat.
Elections to the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be held on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24.
Congress also released its third list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly polls. With this, the party has so far announced the names of 123 candidates, with 51 in the first list and 52 in the second.
The Elections for the 288-member House in Maharashtra will be held on October 21 and results will be out on October 24.
The Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party are contesting the election together under a pre-poll alliance. NCP also released first list for Maharashtra elections.
