Greenlam Industries soars on starting commercial production at expanded facility in Nalagarh

Greenlam Industries is currently trading at Rs. 778.60, up by 28.60 points or 3.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 750.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 802.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 802.00 and Rs. 778.60 respectively.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1085.75 on 27-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 630.20 on 19-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 802.00 and Rs. 711.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1810.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.74%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.11% and 27.15% respectively.

Greenlam Industries has commenced commercial production of expansion project of manufacturing capacity of Laminates at the unit of the Company at Nalagarh in the state of Himachal Pradesh, to manufacture additional 1.6 million laminates sheets per annum.

With this expansion, the installed capacity for laminates has become 15.62 million laminate sheets per annum. The said expansion has the potential to generate revenue of Rs 125 crore per annum on full capacity utilization.
