Flood situation in Bihar: Major rivers in state continue their receding trend

The river Ganga in Dighaghat of Patna has started receding and has come down below the danger level while at Gandhighat, its water level is 10 centimeters above the danger mark. The river is still above the danger mark in Munger but its level is receding.

Burhi Gandak in Khagaria also showed a receding trend, but its level is still above the danger mark.

Adhwara river is still above the danger mark in Darbhanga, but its level has become steady.

The river Gandak is steady in Gopal ganj but it is still flowing above the danger mark. 

Baghmati river has gone below the danger mark in Sitamarhi.

Mahananda river in Araria is flowing below the danger mark and has become steady. Scanty rainfall has occurred in the catchment areas of these rivers during the past 24 hours. The met office has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility Rain or Thunderstorm in one or two places in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
