Education stocks in demand as FM allocates Rs 400 crore for higher education institutions

Shares of companies related to Education sector soared after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced to allocate Rs 400 crore for World-class higher education institutions in FY20. The government also to set up Higher Education Commission with focus on greater autonomy.

CL Educate is currently trading at Rs. 100.05, up by 1.00 points or 1.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 99.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 101.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 102.00 and Rs. 100.05 respectively. So far 253 shares were traded on the counter.
