Ranchi, April 22 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that education is a very important issue in the context of the state. Participating in 62nd foundation day of the St Xaviers School he said that the institution is celebrating its diamond Jubilee and along with that a block of the school has been inaugurated and dedicated to the children. He said that he is attached to the school as a parent also and is fond of the working culture. He said that he remains concerned over the status of education in the state. The Chief Minister said that education is a very important issue for the state and institutions like St Xaviers School play an important role in making education get a special recognition in the state. He said that in its journey of 60 years the school has seen many ups and downs but despite that it was working with same energy and capacity due to which it has got a name for itself in the country. He lauded the role of Father Khes is the progress of the school and said that his farsightedness is important outside the campus in other aspects as well. The Chief Minister said that for the last two years time has been difficult but at present the heat is rapidly increasing due to the summer season therefore the buses carrying the school children should be given way like ambulance so that they can reach their homes soon. He said that even the common people should try to give way to the school buses first. During the function he also inaugurated the newly constructed Diamond Jubilee block and witnessed the cultural program and unveiled booklet of the school titled Endeavour. AK KK
