Deepika shares her first ever poem

Mumbai, April 10 : Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone on Sunday shared her first ever poem that she penned at the age of 12. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Gehraiyaan’ actor shared a photo of the poem that she wrote when she was in Class 7. The 36-year-old actor also revealed the history behind three-para poem. Her school had given two words ‘I Am’. She wrote in the post, “My first AND LAST attempt at writing poetry!This was in grade 7. I was 12. The poem was titled ‘I Am’. We were given the first 2 words that you see…and the rest is history.” On the work front, Deepika is shooting for ‘Pathaan’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film is slated to hit the theatres on January 25 next year in three languages–Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. PRT RNJ
