Congress facing internal strife in many states

Former MLA janardhan paswan also followed her to the BJP camp. International paralympic Deepa Mallik has also joined the BJP. MLA of INLD Kehar Singh Rawat also joined the BJP.

The BJP on Monday announced the names of candidates for two Lok Sabha seats and 9 Assembly constituencies in Odisha, which is set to go for simultaneous polling in four phases between April 11 and 29. Former Odisha DGP Prakash Mishra, who joined the BJP.

Sunday, has been fielded from Cuttack Lok Sabha seat, while ex-MP Kharavela Swain, who was inducted into the party Monday morning, has been given a ticket from Kandhamal parliamentary constituency.

Meanwhile a delegation of the bjp leaders met the eleciton commission to demand a special observer for elections in West Bengal and andhra pradesh. the party also demanded that west bengal be decalred a sensitive state to ensure free and fair polling.

BJP has raised serious questions on the law and order situation in West Bengal.The working committee of the Congress on Monday discussed the party’s manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections and gave a final shape to it.

The working committee, which is the party’s highest decision making body, will give a final go ahead to the manifesto.

The meeting was chaired by Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and attended by senior leaders.

In what he described as a “groundbreaking” measure to end poverty, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi said that 20 per cent families in poorest of the poor category will be given Rs 72,000 each annually as a minimum income.

He claimed that it is a “final assault” to eradicate poverty in the country.

But congress is facing internal strife in many parts of the country.

Karti chidambaram is also facing opposition in Sivaganga seat. IN delhi the confusion is worst confounded as the party is still in dilemma over poll pact with AAP.

The decision now rests with Rahul Gandhi.The political parties have now pulled out all stops in the campaign for the general polls .
