The Goa Chief Minister is the vice-chairperson and host of the event.
During the meeting the Union Home Minister proposed major police, law & order reforms like linking case investigation with ACR of Police officials.
These also included completion of investigation within 60 days.
Among other, ensuring narcotics bureau coordination among states & centre and Zero tolerance in drugs were important issues that were discussed.
Appointment of director of prosecution in each state will be expedited and Centre will issue guidelines soon.
