Clean water to all is my next aim: Modi

Mirzapur (UP) : After toilets the main aim of the government is to provide clean water to all,Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced here on Thursday. Addressing an election rally ,the third in the state on the day,he said,a separate ministry will be created for the purpose.It will  be named Jal Shakti Mantralaya. This way he will fulfill the wishes of noted socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia.Recalling him,he said,Lohia used to say that women in the country face two problems, one toilet and the other  water.

However,his followers are attacking him for stressing on construction of toilet.”His talks begin with Shauchalay and end there”,Modi quoted Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav as saying. He has forgotten his own leader .Still he claims to be a samajwadi, Modi mocked.The Prime Minister , giving details , said over ten crore toilets have been already constructed in different parts of the country.

Making a direct attack on the alliance,he alleged that the SP and the BSP were involved in countless corruption cases.He named two in this connection–sale of cement factories and sugar mills.These units were sold for a song,he claimed. During their rules the industry sector had suffered the most.Carpet industry in Mirzapur was the worst sufferer.

These parties had taken workers for granted (as ghulam) and that is why they formed alliance without consulting them. Group clashes are the result of that,he said. Referring to abusive words used for him,Modi said ,” gaali dose has gone up because the result declaration day has neared and because they are not sure of victory”.
