Beijing, May 24 (HS):Ten people have been confirmed to be dead and several told to be injured in a boat capsize tragedy in a remote Banrao village of Guizhou province in China, Emergency Services Officers, Police, Transport and Health Department told today.It is worth mentioning that there were 29 people in the boat. So far 11 people have been rescued. According to local authorities, eight people were missing .The captain was also among 11 people rescued after the incident.
The injured are being treated in the hospital. China’s Ministry of Emergency Management said, the boat was a motor-powered iron boat that was “self-built,” rather than obtained from an industrial manufacturer.
Rescuers composed of police, emergency response officers, people from the transport and health departments.
