Chapra/Gopalganj, May 19 (Udaipur Kiran): Local administration today did not allow to took out Candle March by youth and women at Baikunthpur in Gopalganj.
Candle March against killing of Nisha not allowed
Convenor of Tarun Vikas Manch Manish Rishi said that they wished to took out candle march against the killing of teacher Nisha and to demand stringent action against the culprits.
They wished to pay respect to departed soul and for high level inquiry into this high profile murder. But as the Model code of conduct is effective, administration did not allow.
He said that after 23 May, they would take out candle march. Nisha was killed on 9 May on school premises and her corpse was vanished. Her daughter Kavya is also missing. Husband Rakesh Singh has been arrested. But the school management is also under the scanner.
ASP Vinay Tiwary said that many others have also been interrogated and it was found that the relation between husband and wife was not cordial. Police are investigating from all angles and culprits would not be spared, he said.
