BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting held in New Delhi

The central election committee of the BJP was held in the national capital to finalise the names of its candidates for phase 2 of the Lok Sabha elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah, and other senior leaders attended the meet.

The committee has decided on the ninth list of candidates. The list includes four parliamentary constituencies, one from Assam, two from Karnataka & one from Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP has also released the fourth list for Odisha assembly constituency
