BJP accuses Mamata of ‘Murdering Democracy’

BJP president Amit Shah was scheduled to hold three rallies in 24 Parganas district in West Bengal on Monday.

However since Mamata Banerjee Govt did not give permission for the 2nd rally which was to be held in Jadavpur, Amit Shah addressed his first rally in Jaynagar in South 24 Paraganas and will address the second at Barasat in North 24 Paraganas.

Accusing the West Bengal government of not allowing Shah’s rally in Baruipur, Jadavpur the BJP said it will hold protests and also move the Election Commission against West Bengal government for using undemocratic means to target the BJP.

Addressing a press conference, senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar accused the state government of forcing Shah to cancel his rally in Jadavpur by first not allowing his helicopter to land for his rally at Baruipur, and then refusing to give permission for the change in venue to Atghar.

Addressing his first rally at Jaynagar in South 24 Paraganas Amit Shah said that Mamata Didi cancelled his second rally which is her nephew’s seat out of fear.

He said she is running scared that the BJP will defeat Abhishek Bannerjee, her nephew.

Shah also said Mamata Bannerjee doesn’t allow the people of West Bengal to benefit from any of the central government schemes.
