The two leaders are expected to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties. Talks will revolve around trade and connectivity, development cooperation, people to people contact, culture and other issues of mutual interest.
The two leaders will jointly inaugurate three bilateral projects and are likely to sign several agreements in areas like transport, connectivity, capacity building and culture.
Earlier today, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar called on the visiting dignitary and reaffirmed India’s highest priority to relations with Bangladesh.
Ms Hasina is scheduled to meet President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening.
She arrived in New Delhi last Thursday on a four-day visit to India. Ms Hasina was the chief guest at the India Economic Summit which was organised by the World Economic Forum.
