Bharti Airtel rings loud after raising Rs 5,330 crore from overseas investors

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 374.00, up by 14.75 points or 4.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 359.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 361.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 384.85 and Rs. 361.55 respectively. So far 826671 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 384.85 on 10-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 254.29 on 22-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 384.85 and Rs. 334.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 191319.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.71%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.19% and 2.10% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has raised about Rs 5,330 crore from investors based in Asia, Europe and the US through a hybrid financial instrument. The proceeds shall be used for refinancing, investments in subsidiaries and general corporate purpose.
