Bangladesh Foreign Minister briefs diplomats over Rohingya Situation

He was speaking to the media on Thursday after briefing the diplomats of foreign missions and representatives of UN agencies in Dhaka  about the Rohingya situation in Bangladesh.

He said Myanmar should allow international media and UN agencies to monitor and report on Myanmar’s readiness in receiving their displaced people.

Speaking about the NGOs, Foreign Minister said that action will be taken against the NGOs operating in Rohingya camps if they violate terms and references of their working.

In the meanwhile the NGO Affairs Bureau on Thursday suspended six projects of a local NGO Mukti Cox’s Bazar for allegedly ‘supplying’ sharp weapons to Rohingya refugees.
