Bajaj Auto rises on reporting 21% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 3180.40, up by 19.05 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 3161.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3185.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3200.95 and Rs. 3145.90 respectively. So far 6032 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3235.65 on 23-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2400.00 on 29-Jul-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3235.65 and Rs. 2995.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 91479.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.84% and 22.64% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has reported 21.69% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,402.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 1,152.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.95% at Rs 8,100.76 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 8,346.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 21.23% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,523.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 1,256.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.95% at Rs 8,100.76 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 8,346.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
