Bajaj Auto advances on the bourses

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 3268.00, up by 21.25 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 3246.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3253.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3289.50 and Rs. 3212.00 respectively. So far 17810 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3,289.50 on 01-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2400.00 on 29-Jul-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3289.50 and Rs. 3135.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 94565.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.84% and 22.64% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has registered a fall of 9% in total sales to 463,208 units in October 2019 against 506,699 units in October 2018. The sales of the motorcycles decreased by 8% and stood at 398,913 units in October 2019 against 432,985 units in October 2018. The company has reported 13% fall in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 64,295 units as compared to 73,714 units in month of October 2018.

Besides, the company’s total exports stood at 184,432 units, registering a fall of 1% as compared to 186,757 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
