Avenue Supermarts advances on issuing CP worth Rs 150 crore

Avenue Supermarts is currently trading at Rs. 1546.25, up by 16.45 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 1529.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1529.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1556.00 and Rs. 1529.05 respectively. So far 9801 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1696.15 on 19-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1126.95 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1570.05 and Rs. 1500.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 96988.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.04% and 9.75% respectively.

Avenue Supermarts has issued Commercial Paper (CP) of Rs 150 crore on September 06, 2019. The company has issued said Commercial Paper within the overall limit of Rs 900 crore as approved by Board of Directors in their meeting held on January 12, 2019.

Avenue Supermarts is a Mumbai-based company, which owns and operates DMart stores. D-Mart is an emerging national supermarket chain that offers customers a range of home and personal products under one roof.
