‘Used Fake Aadhar cards for appearing the exam’

Of these, 5 persons were caught from Udaipur who revealed about 3 of their friends cheating in Jalore, who were arrested later.

“The exam was held by the Kota University and the timing was 2 to 5 pm. We had a tip that few candidates from the Vishnoi community had entered examination centers with fake id cards. We had to wait till the candidates started filling the OMR sheets to catch them with evidence” Ranu Sharma, the additional SP of the ATS wing Udaipur told TOI. The police arrested Prakash, Rajuram, Ganpat, Kamlesh and Suresh all residents of Sanchore of Jalore district while 3 others including a woman were arrested from examination centers in Jalore.

“ The men were caught with fake Adhaar cards from various centers under Dabok, Pratapnagar, Hathipole and Ambamata police stations. One of them who was caught said that his wife too was using a fake id at a Jalore center and thus more people were busted. The accused people have been handed over to the concerning police stations. There may be a racket working behind and we are investigating the case” Ranu said.
