The national capital’s air quality index was 359 at 9:45 am. Greater Noida and Noida also recorded their AQI in the “very poor” category.
Weather experts said a fresh western disturbance is expected to increase the wind speed and improve ventilation which will help bring down pollution levels.
VIJAY GOEL BLAMES DELHI CM FOR RISING AIR POLLUTION
Air quality in Delhi and nearby areas entered the “very poor” category Thursday morning.
BJP leader Vijay Goel blamed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for not taking preventive measures to curb the pollution in the capital.
He said water and air quality has become worse because of Delhi government’s negligence.
