Around 150 exhibitors are taking part in the much loved book fair. Proving to be a delight for students, intellectuals, writers and teachers, the fair welcomes every book lover into its abode.
Imbibed with Prime Minister Modi’s vision to quit single-use-plastic, a simultaneously held stationary fair is proving to be a great example. Large number of people can be seen buying bronze bottles and sending out a message to give up the use of plastic and switch over to other sustainable alternatives.
With Ramayana Audio Book remaining the centre of attraction, 150th birth anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi is also getting its share of limelight. One such stall named “AAIYE AAP BHI SUT KATIYE” at the book fair is giving spectators a chance to spin charkha.
Apart from this, Calligraphy is gaining popularity amongst the youth with many activities being held to promote it. Interstingly, this time the entry to the book fair is free of cost.
