14 killed in Kazakhstan plane crash

Emergency service personnel have rushed to the scene and 14 deaths have been confirmed.

The Survivors have been evacuated. The plane was en route from Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, to the country’s capital of Nur-Sultan.

The plane belonged to Kazakh carrier Bek Air, which operates a fleet of Fokker 100 jets. The aviation committee said it was suspending all flights of that type of aircraft pending an investigation.
