Zuari Agro Chemicals gets nod for integrated revamp of ammonia-urea plants

Zuari Agro Chemicals has received an approval for integrated revamp of ammonia-urea plants at a cost of approximately Rs 1,300 crore. The board of directors at its meeting held on May 19, 2017 has approved for the same. Consequently, the urea capacity will increase from 1350 MTPD to 1800 MTPD and Energy per tonne of Urea will be 5.39 Gcal as against existing 6.67 Gcal.
