Vivo has expanded its product line-up in India with the launch of a new smartphone. Dubbed V5s, the smartphone is priced at Rs 18,990. It’s an upgraded version of the V5 , which the company launched in November last year.
Like majority of Vivo ‘s smartphones, the V5s is also a selfie-centric smartphone. It has a 20MP front-facing camera with Vivo’s signature ‘Moonlight Glow’ feature. The handset is available in Crown Gold and Matte Black colour variants, and has a design that’s similar to the V5.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Vivo V5s retains all specifications from its predecessor V5, apart from the internal storage. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution that comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset with 4GB of RAM. But instead of offering 32GB ROM like its predecessor, Vivo V5s offers 64GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 256GB.
